Renovation modernized the convention center while being reverent to the original design.
GLHN provided architecture and engineering design services for renovations and an addition at the iconic Tucson Convention Center. The challenge was to be reverent to existing design while bringing the building up to date. Old mechanical and electrical systems were modernized and the interiors were given a fresh, new look. The building addition of 36,000 SF provided 10 new meeting rooms with associated restrooms. Circulation around the lobby for proper access to the new meeting rooms was also part of our design.
