Once an iconic department store in Central Phoenix, the Burgbacher Building has been recently redeveloped, along with the rest of historic Park Central Mall, into modern, medium-density office space and retail. New architectural shade structures, a new monumental stairway, a new exterior entryway off the 2nd level, and new floor-to-ceiling glazing on the north elevation were added in order to make the 2nd floor suite more accessible and improve the interior environment by controlling daylight and heat gain.
