From master planning through construction, GLHN guided the design of a large-scale municipal facility.
GLHN served as the Architect and Engineer of Record on the $50M City of Tucson SunTran Bus Storage, Maintenance, and Fueling Facility. We completed the original master plan for the 21-acre site and then designed a fueling facility and all necessary site infrastructure. Phase II included a 12,000 SF operations building and a 40,000 SF maintenance building with 17 bus bays, bus fueling and wash facility. Now at full build-out, the site supports a 250-bus fleet with more than 129,000 SF of building space.
