Elements of nature soften the effect of an institutional structure on a campus dedicated to healing and comfort.

The new parking garage addition functions as the front door to the St. Joseph’s healthcare campus and the Ryan House, a Hospice of the Valley facility that treats terminally ill children. Our key consideration was to soften the institutional feel of the garage.

GLHN designers created a space that enhances the visitor experience by introducing natural elements such as daylight, sky views, and lush landscaping. Custom perforated aluminum image panels serve as wayfinding guides and incorporate saguaro images into the panel design to add another touch of nature.
