St. Joseph’s Hospital Third Avenue Parking Garage Expansion

The 3rd Avenue Parking Garage functions as the front door to the St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center and Barrow Neurological Institute. GLHN was the Architect and Engineer of Record for the $10.9M expansion of the parking structure that added 520 spaces. GLHN created a space that enhances the visitor experience by introducing natural elements such as daylight, views of the sky, and lush landscaping. Custom perforated aluminum image panels were included as multi-tasking elements, serving as wayfinding guides while the saguaros on the panels add another touch of nature.
