Brian Hagedon, AIADirector of Architecture
With his 22 years of experience as both an architect and electrical designer, Brian Hagedon is one of GLHN’s double threats, embodying our philosophy of providing clients with totally integrated architecture and engineering services. His calm manner and equanimity serve our K-12 and higher education clients as he leads diverse user groups toward a unified vision of their projects. He’s focused on keeping the client’s goals and desires balanced with the realities of cost and quality. In his work with faith-based organizations, Brian finds plentiful inspiration and especially enjoys furthering the missions of his clients through well-conceived designs.
Brian successfully delivered the Streetcar Storage and Maintenance Facility for the City of Tucson and now offers those specialized design skills to other communities developing alternative modes of transportation. Because they have a significant impact on the surrounding communities, these projects often require a transparent public participation process, and with his ability to make stakeholders feel heard and supported, Brian excels as a presenter and collaborator.
“I was surprised by how much I enjoyed designing the maintenance facility for the SunLink Streetcar. It was a great opportunity to pull inspiration from historic Tucson and weave a new industrial building into the fabric of the downtown community.”
