The University of Arizona Awarded Best Project

The University of Arizona Biomedical Sciences Partnership Building received the ENRSouthwest Best Project Award in the Higher Education/Research category.  Completed in January 2017, the 245,000 SF building includes research space, wet and dry laboratories, and related core facilities.  The 10-story building supports ongoing University research in cancer biology, neuroscience, traumatic brain injury, bioengineering, and public health informatics and is certified LEED Silver.  The $136M project was designed by CO Architects with Ayers Saint Gross and delivered through the Construction Manager at Risk method by a DPR/Sundt joint venture.  GLHN provided building commissioning services.  Photo credit: CO Architects.
