GLHN was recognized by Tucson Electric Power (TEP) on March 3, 2016 as one of twelve recipients of the 2016 BrightEE Award. GLHN won the BrightEE in the Commercial Contractor category for incorporating TEP’s cost-effective energy efficiency (EE) programs into its designs. The firm helped customers save more than 2 million kilowatt hours (kWh) in 2015, working closely with clients like the University of Arizona, which received this year’s Big Picture Award for its long-term investment in using new EE technologies. Highlighted projects included the University of Arizona’s award-winning Environment & Natural Resources 2 (ENR2) building for which GLHN is Architect and Engineer of Record. We congratulate the contributing GLHN designers for their innovation and the University of Arizona for its commitment and collaborative approach!
