The mural in the new GLHN PHX office is garnering lots of attention! It’s usually the first thing people notice when they visit the midtown space. The art work is the result of a firm-wide contest soliciting a design that incorporated color and featured the Phoenix office mascot. The winning design belonged to Rahil Zarpoush, an architectural designer at GLHN. Her digital artwork integrates the firm’s corporate branding through kaleidoscope like shapes and bright color pops arranged into a cohesive image. Those working in the office enjoy the whimsy and inspiration the big bovine offers. While not yet named, there have been suggestions to refer to her as Knickers. Knickers is the famous Australian Holstein that has grown to a height of 6’4” at the shoulders. Very impressive for a cow. And interestingly, the same size as the one in our office. Perhaps the next contest will be to name our larger than life large as life mascot.
