As a 100% Employee Owned firm, GLHN was eager to participate in ESOP Month this October. An ESOP is an employee benefit plan which makes the employees of a company owners of stock in that company. The GLHN ESOP Communication Committee led the firm in celebrating the tremendous spirit of employee ownership. To kick things off, we posted our ESOP seal at the front door of the Tucson office to share our excitement about being employee-owned with our clients and partners. Each day of the month was filled with daily “Did you know?” informational emails about ESOPs and particularly the GLHN plan. Owners were encouraged to wear their GLHN “proud employee owner” ball caps and use “Message from the Owner” post-it notes. We wrapped the month up with a Halloween costume contest and a delicious meal prepared by ESOP Committee Member, Bill Koller and Rolling Thunder.
