GLHN is pleased to announce the promotion of R. Douglas Stingelin, P.E., QCxP, LEED AP to Mechanical Engineering Department Manager. Mr. Stingelin has been with GLHN since 2004 and leads project efforts in mechanical engineering and systems commissioning. He is a Certified Commissioning Process Provider and has commissioned over $100 million in new building construction, including LEED certified laboratory facilities and the first LEED Platinum certified athletic facility in the United States, the University of Arizona Student Recreation Center Expansion. Mr. Stingelin is also a Level II Thermographer and LEED Accredited Professional. He leads a team of over 20 mechanical engineers, commissioning agents, and designers specializing in energy modeling, sustainable building systems, and industrial processes. Mr. Stingelin takes over the role of Department Manager from Carol Larson, P.E., CEM, LEED AP, allowing Ms. Larson to focus on engineering and management of innovative energy projects.
