Cloriza Lomeli and GLHN Recognized by APPA at National Conference

GLHN Associate Director of Business Development, Cloriza Lomeli, received the President’s Unsung Hero Award at the 2013 APPA National Conference held in Minneapolis. The award recognizes Ms. Lomeli for her “loyal dedication and commitment to APPA and the educational facilities profession”. Mary Vosevich, the current APPA President and Director of the Physical Plant Department at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, selected Ms. Lomeli for the award. She was nominated by Chris Kopach, Assistant Vice President, Facilities Management at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Ms. Lomeli is on the Board of Directors for the Rocky Mountain Association of APPA and has collaborated closely with Mary Vosevich and Chris Kopach for the last three years as a Broad Member.

Also at the event in Minneapolis, GLHN was recognized as an APPA Strategic Business

Partner. GLHN Director of Mechanical Engineering, Henry Johnstone, P.E., teamed with Lindsay Wagner, Director of Sustainability and Energy Services at Northern Arizona University, to present “Total Cost of Ownership Approach to Building Energy Management System Options”.
