GLHN’s Mechanical Engineering Department Manager, Bill Koller, will be presenting not one, but two sessions at this year’s RMA Conference in Denver, CO. On September 26th he will present with Chris Bansil, Central Plants Supervisor at The University of Arizona Facilities Management-Utilities Department. Together they will address the Operational Issues of Fluctuating Campus Steam Production and Distribution Systems. This will be an interactive session which will help attendees develop potential strategies for overcoming similar issues.
Bill’s second presentation will be with Forrest Selmer, P.E., Deputy Director of Utilities Management at The University of Wyoming. They will present a Case Study of the Analysis and Implementation of a Chilled Water Storage System at the University of Wyoming. Thermal energy storage concepts will be evaluated and attendees will learn if this system would be effective at their institutions.
